USI @ CISIS 2017 in Torino, Italy
We had two papers accepted for presentation at the 11th International Conference on Complex, Intelligent, and Software Intensive Systems (CISIS 2017, July 10-12, Torino IT).
In “Real-time Body Gestures Recognition using Training Set Constrained Reduction” we used a constrained training set reduction technique to implement a system for human body gestures recognition in real-time.
In “Conveying Audience Emotions through Humanoid Robot Gestures to an Orchestra during a Live Musical Exhibition” we present a possible use of humanoid robots to increase the emotional engagement during a live musical performance, and to allow the audience to have an active role too. This paper sets the starting point of the collaboration with our colleagues at the Robotics Lab within our Department.
